About Advanced Surf Camp in Morocco
An advanced camp assumes the surfing is not the problem. You can already ride the points; what you are buying is access, timing and someone whose job is to have you in the right place on the right tide.
In practice that means early starts, the guide making the daily call, and a willingness to drive an hour or more north to Tamri or south past Agadir when the wind turns. Anchor Point, Killers, Boilers and La Source all work on specific and fairly narrow combinations, and a camp that surfs only what is outside the front door is not an advanced camp regardless of the label.
Winter is the season — October to March is when the North Atlantic sends real swell, and it is also when the points are busy. Expect competition for waves at Anchor on a good day, and expect etiquette to matter: the line-ups here have a settled local order and visitors are watched.

Confident surfers riding overhead waves, visitors who want the points rather than the beaches, and anyone travelling in winter for the swell.
