About Surf & Fitness in Morocco

Surf fitness weeks train the things surfing exposes: paddling endurance, shoulder and thoracic mobility, the pop-up as a movement pattern, and enough breath-hold work to make a hold-down uneventful rather than frightening.

The gap this fills is specific. Most people are limited on day four by arms that will not paddle rather than by technique, and general gym fitness transfers poorly — paddling is a prone shoulder movement almost nothing else trains. A structured week usually means land sessions on the days between surfs rather than on top of them.

Expect mobility work, some strength, and often breath training. That last part is worth taking seriously and worth checking: any breath-holding should be supervised and dry, never in the water unsupervised, and a camp casual about that is a camp to skip.

Who it suits

Surfers who run out of arms before they run out of waves, older surfers managing shoulders, and anyone preparing for a bigger trip later in the year.

One email a month: what is working on the coast, what it costs, and the listings that just went live. No more than that, and you can leave in one click.

We send the confirmation link first, so nobody can add your address but you.
