Almost nobody flies a board to Morocco for a first or second trip, and they should not: airline board fees are significant, the rental stock here is adequate, and the right board for your week depends on conditions you cannot see from home.
Beginner racks are soft-tops from about 7'0" to 9'0", which is what you want for whitewater and early green waves. Improvers move to funboards and mid-lengths, and most rental shops in Taghazout and Tamraght carry a reasonable range of shortboards and a few fish. Genuine longboards are scarcer than people expect — ask before assuming.
Check the damage policy before you take the board out, and photograph any dings that are already there. Weekly rates are substantially cheaper than daily, and most camps include a board in the package price, so rent separately only if you are staying independently.
