About Intermediate Surf Camp in Morocco
The intermediate camp is for the stage that is hardest to book well: you can catch unbroken waves and ride them along, but you are not reliably turning, reading a peak or getting out the back in size.
The difference from a beginner week is where you surf and what is discussed. Sessions move to the smaller points and better sandbars, the coaching turns to positioning and wave selection rather than standing up, and video review becomes the core of the day rather than an extra. The number of waves caught matters less than which ones.
Morocco is unusually good for this stage because the long right-hand points give a rideable wall for hundreds of metres — plenty of time to try a turn, fail, and try again on the same wave. Check the camp actually surfs those spots rather than keeping every group on the beach breaks.
Who it suits
Surfers who can stand up consistently but are stuck going straight, self-taught surfers wanting structure, and anyone returning after a first camp elsewhere.
