Language and surf weeks put lessons into the same schedule as sessions, and in Morocco the choice is usually Moroccan Arabic (Darija), Modern Standard Arabic, French, or Tamazight in the Souss where it is the first language of much of the coast.
The practical case is that Darija opens the part of a trip that does not happen in English. Taghazout runs in English, but the souk in Agadir, the bus, and the village an hour inland do not, and a fortnight of daily lessons is enough to order, bargain and greet properly. Tamazight matters more than people expect here: the villages behind this coast are Amazigh, and the few words go a long way.
These weeks are longer than a standard camp by necessity — a course that runs two hours a day needs two weeks to do anything. They suit people staying a month, remote workers, and anyone coming back repeatedly rather than once. Check whether the school is separate from the camp and how the two schedules interlock, because a mid-morning lesson can cost you the best tide.
