About Surf Lodge in Morocco

Lodge sits between a house and a hotel: purpose-built or converted for surfers, bigger than a house, with more services than a hostel and usually a pool, a proper dining room and staff on site through the day.

The practical difference is reliability rather than luxury. A lodge has a reception, set meal times, a board store, and usually its own instructors and vehicles, so the whole week can be arranged in one place. Rooms are private with ensuite bathrooms as a rule.

It suits people who want the structure of a camp without a camp's fixed programme — you can book lessons on the days you want them and do nothing on the others. Check whether food and surfing are bundled or à la carte, because lodges vary more than any other category on that.

Who it suits

Couples and small groups, mixed-ability travellers, and anyone who wants services on site without the fixed timetable of a camp.

One email a month: what is working on the coast, what it costs, and the listings that just went live. No more than that, and you can leave in one click.

We send the confirmation link first, so nobody can add your address but you.
