Most people who book a Morocco surf week come alone, which is why solo-friendly camps are the norm rather than a niche here. The structure of the week does the introducing for you.
What makes a camp work for a solo traveller is shared meals at a long table, group lessons rather than private, and a common area that is used. Single-supplement policy matters — some camps charge one, some put you in a shared twin, and a few have proper single rooms. That detail is often the whole price difference.
Taghazout and Tamraght are also unusually easy places to be alone. The villages are small, walkable and busy with people in the same position, and the surf schools function as the social centre. Nobody here finds a solo traveller unusual.
